As moms we are always looking for something quick and easy to impress our kids. I, myself am not the world's best cook. I can rock a recipe if I have one but sometimes I feel like I don't have time to go buy all of the specific ingredients and then I HATE cleaning up the millions of dishes that help create one meal. So when we find quick and easy meals and snacks we have to share!
We recently created these "healthy cookies" and the entire family could not get enough! We call them Chocolate-Ala-Pear Cookies. Here are the ingredients you will need:
- You can use an apple or pear what ever fruit your family prefers
- Your favorite nut butter. We love Justin's Honey Almond Butter
- Organic Shredded Coconut we got ours from Sprouts (if you want to keep it healthy, avoid the over processed, sweetened coconut flakes.)
- Dark Chocolate Chips, we love Enjoy Life. They are the #1 allergy friendly baking chocolate and they also have a lot of other great products.
Cut your fruit into rings and remove the core/seeds.
Then add your toppings, starting with the nut butter, shredded coconut and then chocolate chips!
We hope you enjoy this quick and easy snack!
